Hand into live service

The problem it solves

Go-live readiness gets tracked in yet another spreadsheet, and the hand-over to live service is where the thread usually snaps.

What it does

A
Impact AssessmentSummary (IA number, epic, project); people fields (Service Transition Lead, PM, Supplier PM/PI/TI) via user search; a project overview you can pull from the charter; service details (business owner, solution/service owner, new-service flag, users affected, support provider and SLA, DR required, release approach); and key dates (go-live, decommission, close-out).
B
Support vendorsCapture each support vendor and the impact on them. One tab for the whole project, or a tab per work-package group.
C
Transition into Service (TIS)A checklist generated from the approved GCR’s service-transition questions, worked through with status, evidence and an update log, so nothing is missed before go-live.

How it works

  1. Pull the project overview from the charter
  2. Complete the Impact Assessment
  3. Capture service details, dates and support vendors
  4. Work the TIS checklist to green
  5. Hand into live service
